Filmmaker, Farhan Akhtar, who is making a sequel to Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Don - The Chase Begins has recently stated that he will start shooting for the film in the end of next year. Shahrukh Khan will do the lead in the film while the actress for playing the female lead is still to be finalised by the director.

Recently, Farhan was in the capital for promoting his debut film as an actor, Rock On, which is going to be released on August 29. The movie stars Arjun Rampal, Koel Puri and Prachi Desai in lead roles. Director Abhishek Kapoor is making his debut with this film.

Shahrukh Khan starrer Don-The Chase Begins was the remake of 1978 released Amitabh Bachchan starrer Don. Though the movie did well at the box office but failed to recieve the popularity which the original flick had recieved. Farhan confirmed that King Khan will be doing the lead in the sequel too but a new actress will be enrolled on the place Priyanka Chopra.
