Feroz Khan passes away


Feroz Khan who was known for his larger than life persona both on and off screen recently passes away. After fighting cancer for a long time, he finally succumbed to it. The actor will go down as one of the most charming actor of his time. Even in his old days, he managed to remain a style icon and proved once again that bald was beautiful.

The actor will forever remain in the hearts of the audiences for his breathtaking performances in the movies like Qurbani and Dharmatma. Dharmatma was inspired from Godfather and was the first Indian movie to be shot in Afghanistan. He took his last breath at his farmhouse in Bangalore where he was flown down from Mumbai just a few days ago when his heath had showed some signs of improvement. He was particularly fond of animal and especially horses.

The actor won a Filmfare award for his performance in the movie Aadmi Aur Insaan. In the year, 2000 Filmfare acknowledged him with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the industry. He also turned director and producer and made memorable films like Dayavan and Yalgaar in the early nineties. He will always be remembered for living life king size.

Sanjay Gupta was in deep grief when he heard of the news as it was Feroz Khan who has inspired him into film making .His last appearance came in the movie Welcome in which he played the character of RDX. A dialogue from the movie comes to mind in which he says Abhi Hum Zinda Hai, which he forever will be in the hearts of his fans and loved ones.
