There has been more than a single incident in the past few months where the movie has received an adult certificate from the censor board despite the fact that they made appeals saying that the material would not harm the kids underage if they watched the movies in the theatres. Kaminey got the A certification despite the makers claiming that the violence in the movie was much less than in movies like Ghajini which were given universal certification.

After seeing the treatment that was dished out to these movies, the moviemakers are taking every step by caution. Madhur Bhandarkar got all vary after the recent incidents and has decided to retouch on the nude scene featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh. when he made a foresight he felt that the scene would not at all go down well with the censor board and they might end up giving it an A certification. He has himself felt the wrath of censor board when his last movie Fashion was made available only to the adult audiences.

This can be a huge hit to the collections at the box office. You are bound to lose a major share of the audiences once you get an A certificate. The teenagers are gone and so are the parents who accompany their kids to their theatres. However not all directors have taken a step back.

Sudipto Chattopadhyay who is shooting the movie Pankh with Bipasha Basu has kept the two dialogues in the movie, which sees Bipasha use the F word. All the other abusive words will have a beep sound in the background but not the ones featuring Bipasha.
