Fox Star Studio is a big name when it comes to Hollywood but many people might not have heard the name over here. Now that the distance between the two industries in decreasing and there is scope for huge returns from the Bollywood they are trying to increase their foothold in the industry. Fox Star Studio were the behind success Slumdog Millionaire enjoyed in India. They distributed the movie over here.

After the success, they had last year they are now showing interests in getting the rights of many more movies. They are very keen on getting My Name Is Khan which stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. That is one movie, which you can distribute very easily as the name of SRK, is attached with it and you can be certain that the audiences will turn up at the theatres.

Vijay Singh who is a member of fox studio says that the company is very keen on building good professional relationship with some of the big names of the industry. Karan Johar is obviously on their list. Apart from that, they have also signed a deal with Vipul shah and they will be distributing two movies for him, one of them being the Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer Action Replay.

They are also expanding down south. They are already in talks with director of Ghajini, Mr.Murgadoss and are closing on a deal with him. With them entering the field now the battle in going to get more heated up as more people trying to get the big movies.
