We all know about the story how Freida Pinto became an international star over night after the success of her movie Slumdog Millionaire. Since then the local media has found it hard to get an interview from her and it could not have got any more obvious than that. Freida has truly taken over the stage and now she is seen only giving interviews to the international media.

She has had huge projects coming her way from internationally acclaimed directors like Woody Allen. After she gave the biggest hit of last year, things have changed. Frieda might have been asking for a break from the Bollywood directors but know things have taken a turn and now the directors are the one who will be dying to get her to play a part in their movie.

Freida recently hinted that if she in the near future works with a director in Bollywood it would be Madhur Bhandarkar. Looks like Madhur has made an impression on Freida with her work. Madhur was flattered when he heard of the comments saying that the reason for her interest in working with him might be due to the fact that he has made some nice women centric films.

Konkona Sen Sharma and Tabu did an extremely good job in the movies Page 3 and Chandni Bar. Madhur is now wondering where his career might have headed if he would have had some hits at the start of his career. For all those who do know he made his debut as a director ten years back with his movie Trishakti.
