Ravi Kishen is a happy man these days. He is keeping in the limelight and this time around, it is not for the controversies he is involved in rather for the quality of work he is doing. After getting positive reviews for his performance in the movie Luck, he seems to be spurred on more than ever before. He putting in that extra effort to make sure that he goes on a step further with his next release Raavan.

Santosh Sivan has signed on the actor to do the lead role in his next directorial venture. He did not divulge any details about the project saying that it was still very premature to talk about the topic. He will be making a formal announcement once everything is finalized. The plot will revolve around a boy who lives by the city of Varanasi and who falls in love with a beautiful Italian girl who is in the city on a travel trip.

Ravi is ecstatic and he is looking forward how the combination of Banaras Paan with Italian pasta turn out to be in the breakfast menu on the sets. In addition, the language spoken in the movie would be interesting to see with the Italian actor going through her dialogues in fluent and very own Italian accent and with Ravi speaking bits and pieces of broken English.

Ravi says that the hard he put inside the gym to reduce 15 kilos from his body weight is finally paying off with him getting more movie offers in which he would like to work. What this also means is that he does not have to carry the baggage of being a Bhojpuri star any longer.
