Bollywood comic caper, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, directed by Manoj Agrawal was released on 14 April 2000. The movie starred Govinda and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles while Jhonny Lever, Nirmal Pandey and Ritu Shivpuri also played important roles in the film. The music of the film was given by Anand Raj Anand. Initially, sexy lad Mahima Chaudhary was supposed to play the female lead in movie but due to some date problems, the role went in the kitty of Rani Mukherjee.

The movie starts with Raj Malhotra aka Raju ( Govinda ), who is a detective by profession. His friend Sanjay Khanna ( Nirmal Pandey ) seeks help from Raju and wants him to go on a European trip for collecting the evidences to prove that his wife is having an extramarital affair. On the other hand, Sanjay’s wife Anjali ( Ritu Shivpuri ) also think that her hubby is cheating on their relationship. She too wants to collect evidences against him so that she can easily file for divorce. They have already stop living in the same house.

Anjali sends her friend Anjali ( Rani Mukherjee ) on the European tour in place of her. She also has a task to collect information regarding Anjali’s husband. But after many misunderstandings, Raju and Govinda themselves fall in love with each other. But both of them think themselves as the spouse of their friend. But in the end all the confusion gets cleared when Sanjay and his wife resolves their misunderstandings. Now Raju has to stop Anjali’s marriage which she has accepted to do after returning from Europe.
