Arjun Rampal was recently awarded the Filmfare award for an actor in the Best Supporting Role. The praise has been pouring in from all places for his performance in the movie Rock On in which he plays a member of the rock band Magik. Now there are reports doing the rounds that he doubles his signing amount after the award and has refused to work with his one time friend Vipul Shah.

The amount asked by Arjun was not acceptable to Vipul and he roped in MTV VJ Ranvijay to play the part in his movie titled Action Replay. The movie will see Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. The two actors were last seen together in the movie Khakee. The movie will see Randhir Kapoor who is making a comeback after he was seen in the movie Armaan in the year 2003.Ranbir was to play the son of Akshay and Aish but apparently, he has walked out of the project due to reasons unknown.

When Vipul was asked about Arjun, he said that he was left out, as there were dates problem and he was busy shooting for Rajneeti. Arjun has remained silent all this while and has said that not so much should be made out of the issue. The media has blown it out of proportions. We are still friends and all is fine between us.

Ranvijay who has made his mark on the small screen will surely try to leave a lasting impression on the silver screen. Its only when someone big leaves apart that it goes to someone else. Now it remains to be seen how much Ranvijay makes of this opportunity.
