Hazel Crowney had a dream debut with her movie Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar but since that movie, she seems to have gone into a hiding. Except for a brief performance in the movie U, Me Aur Hum she has had no release since her debut movie. The reason for no releases is the fact that she had not been offered anything exciting of challenging role. There have been many offers she says but as the clichéd line goes, nothing exciting has come her way.

She has also maintained her distance from the parties and the big Bollywood parties. She says these are the places people think you get work but things do not work like that. No directors will caste you in his movie because he saw you at particular party. She says her work will speak for itself. She is only having a single release Flat in the coming months.

In the movie, she will be sharing the screen space with Jimmy Shergill and Sanjay Suri. The movie has entered the postproduction stage and it likely that it will be released in July. The woman seems to be content with the kind of work she is doing. She is doing some stage shows and her modeling assignments to keep her career afloat.

She says that when you do not get good roles for some time you tend to do crap stuff for the money. She is aware of the fact and is unlikely that she will make the same mistake. She is waiting for the right kind of role to come and yes like all other actors, she hopes of making it big someday.
