When the movie Pukar was released, the initial promos would show the magic that Madhuri Dixit created with Prabhudeva, in the song ‘que sera sera‘, and everyone thought this would be the best song in the album of Pukar. But music maestro A.R. Rahman has never given hits in the numbers which you can count on your hands. The following song ‘sunta hai mera khuda‘, came to epitomise melody, romance, and a heart tugging score, all rolled into one. The song, which was picturised on Anil Kapoor and a very beautiful Namrata Shirodkar ( Miss India 1993, and finished amongst top 6 in Miss Universe 1993, whom we haven’t seen for a long time, having last seen her three years back in Bride and Prejudice and the forgettable Rok Sako To Rok Lo), which if you come across playing on any radio station, you will never change it.
