Katrina Kaif has come a long way since the time she started in Bollywood. She has improves a lot in her acting aspect but needless to say tha main area of improvement has been Hindi. In the beginning she had her voice being dubbed but now she has improved her Hindi and is seen getting her lines right. However, you still have the British accent in her Hindi though.

She did a great job in the movie New York, her Hindi was quite good and the improvement is clearly visible. She had some problems while doing the dubbing for the movie Rajneeti that is being directed by Prakash Jha but she tried her level best even over there. The dialogues had some difficult Hindi words in them especially in her speeches in the movie.

She herself has acknowledged the fact that she indeed has improved on her Hindi. She said that it feels wonderful when people appreciate your hard work and give you credit for that. She gave a special credit to Mohit sir who helped her immensely on the sets of the movie Rajneeti. At the time of dubbing, I improve a lot, as it requires me to speak the dialogues many times.

Being stuck with the script for four to five hours at a stretch and then continuously repeating your lines from the movie helps with the fluency. She said that she now has a grasp of 85% of the language but still has some way to go before she perfects her Hindi. A little bit of more hard work and it will be as if that she never had any problems speaking Hindi in the first place.
