Chandni is a classic Yash Chopra’s love story which is all about love discovered, love lost and love found once again. The story of the movie is based on the love life of a girl named Chandni. This movie shows how love takes the lives of three people and weaves them together. Rohit ( Rishi Kapoor ) and Chandni ( Sridevi ) plans to get married after having a long time love affair. But destiny plays it’s game and Rohit meet with an accident. Being a true lover he breaks all his relationships with Chandni in order to keep her away from his misfortune. Chandni’s heart and dreams got shattered. Then she meets Lalit ( Vinod Khanna ) who also has some tragic memories of his first love. Lalit’s love gives a new direction to Chandni’s life untill one day Rohit once again come back in her life.
