Koi Mil Gaya, directed by Rakesh Roshan was released in the year 2003. The movie starred Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in lead roles. Former bollywood actress Rekha did an important role in the film while Rakesh Roshan himself also did a cameo role. Music of the film was given by by Rajesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan also produced a sequel to the film titled Krrish in the year 2006 and is alos working on the sequel of Krrish.

The movie starts with a space scientist named Sanjay Mehra ( Rakesh Roshan ) who receives a response from Aliens. When he enquires research station about it, they all mocks him. But while driving home, he sees a spacecraft and in the excitation looses control from the car and met with an accident. He dies in the car but his pregnant wife survives and gives birth to a mentally challanged child Rohit ( Hrithik Roshan ).

He grows up in the town of Kasauli and has a number of young freinds. Then enters Nisha ( Preity Zinta ) who feels bads for Rohit’s condition and wants to help her. One day Rohit and Nisha find his father’s computer and unknowingly sends singnals to Aliens. Aliens visits their town but one of them is left behind. Rohit finds him, befriends him and name him Jadoo. What next is the real story of film and should be watched instead of just reading.
