Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was born on November 1, 1973. She won the Miss World contest in 1994. She has been constantly acclaimed as the most beautiful woman in the world. She did her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir high school in Santa Cruz and then entered Jai Hind College for further studies. But after winning the title of Miss World in the year 1994 she abandoned her studies and started working as a professional model.

She made her bollywood debut with the movie Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya in which she was seen opposite Bobby Deol. However, the movie failed to do well at box office. She won her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for her extraordinary performance in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in which she was starred opposite her first ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. After that she gave another hit in the same year in the form of musical Taal. She did many films after Taal like Mohabbatein, Josh etc.

She won her second Filmfare Best Actress Award for the movie Devdas. She also acted in some international projects too in the form of Bride & Prejudice, Mistress of Spices etc. She did many movies with Abhishek Bachchan ( hubby) when he was going through the rough patch of his career. And when Abhi established himself as a successfull actor in bollywood, she decided to get married to him. Their last film together was Dhoom-2 but she was starred opposite Hrithik Roshan in that film. Aishwarya’s latest released film was Jodhaa Akbar in which she was once again seen opposite Hrithik Roshan.
