The production of suspense movie 8×10 Tasveer has been completed and will be releasing on April 3, 2009 under the banner of Percept Picture Company. The movie is being directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and produced byShailendra Singh. The important roles in the movie are being played by Akshay Kumar, Sharmila Tagore, Ayesha Takia and Javed Jaffrey while the roles of Girish Karnad, Anant Mahadevan and Benjamin Gilani are also important. The music of the film is being directed by Salim and Sulaiman Merchant while the songs are sung by Vishal Dadlani, Neeraj Shridhar, Mohit Chouhan, Tulsi Kumar and Bohemia.

8X10 Tasveer is the most awaited film as of now and is a suspense thriller that was earlier also titled as Tasveer. The story of the movie revolves mostly around a guy named Jai Puri ( Akshay Kumar ) who is a young man of 30s and is believed to possess supernatural powers. Though Jai is of Indian origin but is working currently as a forest ranger in Canada. Jai is believed to tell the past of any person just by touching any item that belonged to the person.

More power means more responsibility and sometimes also doubts the credibility of the supernatural powers. Jai can tell anything about a dead man and for that all he needed was his 8 X 10 photograph. One day, he was shattered by the loss of someone important in his life. Jai rediscovers the past of many people including him. A personal tragedy also makes him lose his supernatural powers. The movie is a supernatural thriller with a nail biting finish at end.
