The social thriller movie 99 is ready for release and is scheduled to release on May 1, 2009 under the banner of People Pictures. The movie is being directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK while it is produced by Anupam Mittal and Aditya Shastri. The main roles in the movie are being played by Kunal Khemu, Boman Irani, Soha Ali Khan and Cyrus Broacha while the presence of Simone Singh, Mahesh Manjrekar and Vinod Khanna supported the film.

The movie 99 is a social thriller that revolves mostly around five people named Sachin ( Kunal Khemu ), Pooja ( Soha Ali Khan ), Rahul ( Boman Irani ), Zaramud ( Cyrus Broacha ) and JC ( Vinod Khanna ). Sachin is an ambitious guy full of ideas but still there was a problem in his life that he was not able to implement those. He hoped that his friend Zaramud would help him but he always made the plan worse. Pooja is a typical Delhi girl vibrant and full of enthusiasm.

Rahul who is an ordinary guy with an ordinary job had an extra ordinary quality that he has his luck on his side. He also feels that he has figured out how the luck works for him but he is not sure anymore. Zaramud is an intelligent but senseless guy who has a habit of getting himself and Sachin into deep trouble. JC likes to live big and also likes his assets to be big as well. He wanted to have an edge over everyone he meets either by hook or crook.
