Aa Gale Lag Ja was a romantic suspense movie released on May 13, 1994. The movie was directed by Hamid Ali and produced by Salim Akhtar. The significant roles in the movie were enacted by Jugal Hansraj, Paresh Rawal, Urmila Matondkar and Raza Murad while Gulshan Grover and Ranjeet were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam, Sujata Bhattacharya, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet and Udit Narayan.

Aa Gale Lag Ja was a romantic movie also filled with good dose of suspense at right places. The story of the movie revolves mostly around Mamtaram ( Paresh Rawal ) who lives a happy life with his good and only son Suraj ( Jugal Hansraj ). Mamtaram is a miser by nature and can do anything and at any cost to produce money. Thus he wanted his son Suraj to get married to a wealthy girl so that she can bring good amount of dowry with her.

Mamtaram’s hopes went high when he discovered that Suraj has already fallen in love with a rich girl named Roshni  ( Urmila Matondkar ). Roshni is the only daughter of the rich woman Shakuntaladevi ( Reema Lagoo ). However Shakuntaladevi was against their love and wanted to marry Roshini to Sikander Khanna ( Arjun ). But Roshini was firm to marry Suraj and agreed on one condition that if she can prove him fake then she will not marry him else she would.
