Bollywood yesteryear hit movie, Aadmi, directed by A. Bhimsingh was released in the year 1968. The movie starred Dilip Kumar, Manoj Kumar and Waheeda Rehman in lead roles while Pran, Simi Grewal, Shivraj, Padma Chauhan, Sulochana Latkar, Nataraj and Mohan Chotti also played important roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was directed by Naushad while the songs were beautifully crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Mahendra Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar etc. Dilip Kumar performance in the film was highly appreciated by the audience and is still remebered for its musical scores.

The movie starts with Rajesh ( Dilip Kumar ), who belongs to a wealthy family but is orphaned at a young age. Rajesh feels insecure about everything which he loves. He becomes very possesive about things which he wants to keep with him. In his childhood, he was in love with a girl Meena, who died in an accident. He then substituted her with a doll and even killed a boy who just touched thhat doll. Years later, Rajesh is now in love with a beautifull women named Meena ( Waheeda Rehman ). Rajesh wants to get married with her soon and for this reason often helps her father financially.

Meena also treats Rajesh as her good friend. Dr. Shekhar ( Manoj Kumar ) is one of the best friend of Rajesh. Rajesh introduces Meena and Shekhar. Soon Shekhar and Meena falls in love with each other unknown to Rajesh. Rajesh meets with an accident and becomes physically handicapped. It is then, Rajesh finds out the realtionship between Shekhar and Meena. He assumes that Meena has dropped him down only because he is paralyzed now. And he once again becomes the old Rajesh who is possesive, insecure, dangerous and ofcourse a killer?
