Aan Aur Shaan was a dramatic movie released in 1984. The movie was produced by Mohan Baradia and the producer of the movie was Ravi Tandon. The lead roles in the movie were played by Rishi Kapoor, Moushmi Chatterjee, Nirupa Roy and Shammi Kapoor. Other good roles were played by Ranjeet, Farida Jalal and Dara Singh. The music of the movie was directed by R D Burman while the singers were Asha Bhosle , Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.

The movie was a simple drama and had nothing special for the audiences. The movie was directed by Ravi Tandon who has directed some good ones like Muqaddar released in 1978 and Nazraana in 1987. He also produced some movies for the industry and audience like Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu. He also acted during his early days in the industry in movie Love In Shimla in 1960. He had served the people even through his writing.

The male lead role in the film was enacted by Rishi Kapoor who debuted with the famous movie Mera Naam Joker that was released in 1970. He played the role of child actor in this movie. He has also directed and produced the movie Aa Ab Laut Chalen. The female lead was played by Moushmi Chatterjee who debuted in the Bengali movie Balika Badhu. She was a nominee for Filmfare award as the best actress for Anuraag in which she played the role of a blind girl. The other female lead was played by Nirupa Roy who gave hits like Do Bigha Zameen in 1953 and Deewar in 1975. The movie was not a great hit but had some beautiful songs.
