Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage was a romantic action movie released on April 19, 2002 under the banner of Emkay Films. The movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Rohit Kumar. The actors in the lead roles were Hrithik Roshan, Kiran Kumar, Amisha Patel and Mukesh Tiwari while the significant roles were played by Ali Asgar and Hemant Pandey. The music of the film was directed by Rajesh Roshan and the songs were sung by Abhijeet, Pamela Jain, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan.

The movie Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage stars the hit pair of Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel who acted for the first time together in the hit movie “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai”. Rajesh Roshan has also given the score of this movie as he did for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. The movie is important for both the stars as they wanted to gain some reputation especially for Hrithik who wanted a decent movie after Yaadein. The movie displays the triumph of love over hatred and jealousy.

The story of the movie revolves around a young and ambitious girl Sapna ( Amisha Patel ) who is trapped in her house by her over protective father Dholakia ( Kiran Kumar ). Even her brother didn’t want her to be independent and thus hired some guards to accompany her wherever she goes. The twist in her life came when she participated in the nine-day “Dandiya Raas” festival where she comes across Rohit ( Hrithik Roshan ). Rohit made her enjoy her life and gave her whatever she lacked. Both run away from her father’s restrictions.
