Aggar was released on September 14, 2007 under the banner of Siddhi Vinayak Creations. The movie has been directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj. The actors in the lead roles are Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Udita Goswami while important characters were displayed by Nauheed Cyrusi and Sophie Choudry. The music was directed by Mithoon and the songs were sung by Roop Kumar Rathod, Tulsi Kumar, Kshitij, Qurram, Hamza Faruqui, Sharmishtha and Shilpa Rao.

Humans are the worst form of life living in this world. They can be good to anyone but worse to many. Ananth Narayan Mahadevan’s Aggar raises an issue which highlights the dark side of human personality. A lot of movies have been produced on this topic and Aggar is no different from them but incorporates the rudiments of love, passion and fear. The movie takes off good and keeps you in contact as it progresses. The moral of the story, if you are a girl, is not to get attracted to a wrong man as this would only make your life hell.

The story of the movie is based on ‘Tit for Tat’ that is how Janvi ( Udita Goswami ) cheats her husband Dr Adi Merchant ( Shreyas Talpade ) and later had to pay for all her actions. She runs her own business and is married to Adi who is a psychiatrist. Janvi cheats on her husband and gets an affair with Aryan ( Tusshar Kapoor ) and this made her think that she had got another reason to live on. Later she decides to break off with him but Aryan was in no mood for this. He even threatened her to eliminate Dr. Adi from her life.
