Aloo Chaat is a comedy movie whose production is completed and will be releasing on March 13, 2009 under the banners of Maverick Productions and Mirchi Movies Limited. The movie is directed by Robby Grewal and produced by Anuj Saxena. The lead roles in the movie are played by Aftab Shivdasani , Linda Arsenio, Aamna Shariff and Kulbhushan Kharbanda while the roles of Manoj Pahwa and Dolly Ahluwalia are also good. Music of the film is directed by Mehfuz Maruf and the songs are sung by Rdb, Kailash Kher, Xulfi, Nindy Kaur and Kunal Ganjawala.

The director is thus also known as a youth romantic entertainer. The movie features small screen actress Aamna Shariff and the Kabul Express and Mumbai Salsa fame Linda Arsenio. The movie is set in the chilling winters of Delhi and is sure to thrill the audience with humor and laughter.

The story of the movie is about a Punjabi family who are fighting their fears of marrying their US returned son Nikhil ( Aftab Shivdasani ) whose thinking is just opposite of them.  Nikhil fell in love with a girl in America when he was studying there. His parents starts showing him Punjabi girls but he was afraid of telling the truth to his father Purshottam ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ) who is a short tempered man. Thus he approaches his father’s best friend who is a sexologist Hakim ( Manoj Pahwa ) by profession.
