Bollywood yesteryear movie, Anjaana, directed by Mohan Kumar was released in the year 1969. the movie starred Rajendra Kumar and Babita in lead roles while Prem Chopra, Pran, Tun Tun, Nazima, Sunder, Nirupa Roy, Mehmood Junior and Mohan Choti also played important roles in the film. The evergreen superhit music of the film was composed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were crooned by Mohammed rafi, Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, Suman Kalyanpur etc. The movie did well at the box office and won rave reviews from audience as well as critics.

Raju ( Rajendra Kumar ) is a young guy who lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mother named Janki ( Nirupa Roy ). Raju works as a garage mechanic. Raju meets with a rich and beautiful girl named Rachna Malhotra ( Babita ). After some initially fight, both Raju and rachna falls in love with each other. But when Rachna’s gaurdian Diwan Mahendranath ( Pran ) learns about their relationship, he strictly orders Rachna to stop meeting with Raju. He even speaks Raju’s mother about this and warns her that if Raju will not stop meeting rachna then she will face some bad consequences for sure. Diwan wants Rachna to get married with his son, Ramesh ( Prem Chopra ).

When Raju learns about Diwan’s warning to his mother, he decides to teach a good lesson to him. He takes help of his uncle, Chamanlal Kapoor ( Sunder ) and plans to fool Diwan. They to some extent get succeed in fooling diwan but somehow Diwan learns about their real identity. And in return, he plans something deadly for Raju and his mother that will surely proved to to be a nightmare for them. What is Diwan’s plan? Will Raju be able to stop Diwan from conceiving any dangerous plan against him?
