Former bollywood actress, Antara Mali, is the daughter of famous photographer Jagdish Mali. She made her acting debut in Ram Gopal Verma’s Prema Katha. After that she starred in several movies of him. She did a supporting role in Aftab Shivdasani and Urmila Matondkar starrer Mast. She once again played a supporting role in Akshay Kumar starrer Khiladi 420. She was first noticed in ram Gopal verma’s underworld based film Company in which she starred opposite Vivek Oberoi. She also got chance to act opposite two very good actors of bollywood, Ajay Devgan and Manisha Koirala, in the film.

She changed her ’simple girl’ image to a sexy bombshell in her next movie titled Road. In this film too she starred opposite Vivek oberoi. But the film did poor business at the box office. She then worked in multistarrer Darna Zaroori Hai. Then came Main Madhuri Dixit Banana Chahti Hoon in which she displayed a beautiful piece of her acting. She played the role of a small town girl, who is a big fan of Madhuri Dixit and always dream of becoming a top actress like her. She starred opposite Rajpal Yadav in the film.

She then acted in a fantasy film Gayab opposite Tusshar Kapoor. She did a film ,Naach, opposite Abhishek Bachchan. However after giving a series of flop films she decides to move towards direction. She written and directed a comedy movie Mr Yaa Miss in the year 2005 but once again failed to impress audiences. After that she finally quit acting.
