Baat Ban Jaye was an action and comedy film released in the year of 1986. The movie was directed by Bharat Rangachary and produced by A Hanspal and Nitin Manmohan. The main roles in the movie were played by Prema Narayan,  Amol Palekar, Sanjeev Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty while the presence of Zeenat Aman, Raj Babbar, Shakti Kapoor, Jagdeep, Utpal Dutt and Jalal Aga supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Anandji and Kalyanji Veerji while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Sadhana Sargam, Manhar Udhas and Alka Yagnik.

Baat Ban Jaye was a comic and action movie that revolved mostly around a man named Mr. Suraj Singh ( Sanjeev Kumar ) who was a wealthy man living in a big house, named Ashiana on 10th Road, Juhu, Bombay. He lived with his niece Nisha Singh ( Zeenat Aman ) in the same house who managed all his family business facing opposition from the Khanna Group of Industries. She is currently unmarried but Suraj wanted her to get married. In reality she hated all the wealthy men.

Suraj starts finding men for her and comes up with Ajay Srivastav ( Adi Irani ) who is actually poor but they slowly finds that he is actually married and had three daughters. He then comes up with another poor man in fact a TV repairman, Yeshwant Bhosle ( Amol Palekar ) whose stars changes instantly and becomes a multi millionaire one day. Another comic sequence was provided when her dad comes up with Viju Guide, a Hyderabad-based Tourist Guide who finds a hidden treasure one day.
