Bollywood action flick, Baazi, written and directed Ashutosh Gowariker was released on April 5, 1995. The movie starred Aamir Khan and Mamta Kulkarni in lead roles while Paresh Rawal, Mukesh Rishi and Aashish Vidhyarti were seen in the negative characters. The hit music of the film was given by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik etc. One interesting thing about this film is that Aamir Khan had dressed up like a woman in the film for the song ‘Dole Dole Dil Dole’.

The movie starts with Inspector Amar Damjee ( Aamir Khan ), who saves the life of Chief Minister Vishwasrao Chowdhary ( Raza Murad ) from some very deadly terriorists. He also manage to arrest the leader of that terriorist gang. Chief Minister assigns him the task of identifying the real culprits behind this. Deputy Chief Minister Chaturvedi ( Paresh rawal ) is the person who is behind the attack on Chief Minister and is also connected by the terriorist group. Amar meets a beautful journalist, Sanjana Roy ( Mamta Kulkarni ), with whom he later falls in love.

Amar Damjee starts his search and soon becomes a real danger for them. Chaturvedi traps him in the case of rape and murder of police commissioner’s daughter. He then sent to jail for the imprisonment. But he manages to escape from there alongwith some other prisoners. Now he is has to prove his innocence in the case of Police commisioner’s daughter’s murder. Amar soons learns that Chaturvedi is the real culprit behind all these misdeeds but when he goes to catch him, he once again finds him in another trouble.
