The hit movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released on October 12, 2007 under the banner of T-Series. The movie is comic as well as thriller which was directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The main actors in the film were Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Amisha Patel and Paresh Rawal while the roles of Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and Manoj Joshi were also important. The music director of the movie was Pritam Chakraborty and the songs were sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Shaan, Shreya Ghosal, K K and Tulsi Kumar.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is the movie about spirits and suspense filled with comic sequences at several places. So it would not be wrong to refer it as a complete movie. Dr. Aditya Shivastav ( Akshay Kumar ) is a doctor completely different from the other doctors. He is funny but brainy and is ready with solutions to different problems. Avni Chaturvedi ( Vidya Balan ) is a simple and sweet wife of Siddharth ( Shiney Ahuja ). The couple is happy together until they start facing some problem. US based Siddharth and his wife Avni decides to visit their hometown in India to learn more about their home land.

During their stay there the family started facing many problems and different scary situations but had explanations for all of them. They believed that there are some ghosts in a room of their house and so they always kept it locked. One day Siddharth’s friend Aditya visited their house and came across all the problems. He started analyzing the situation and found answers to all the questions. He came to know that the ghost was none other than Avni herself. The plan made by him to cure Avni was successful and quite interesting.
