The action thriller Bichhoo was released on July 7, 2000. The movie was directed and produced by Guddu Dhanoa. The actors in the lead roles were Bobby Deol, Aashish Vidyarthi, Rani Mukherjee and Pramod Moutho while the roles of Malaika Arora and Farida Jalal were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs were sung by Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Ram Shankar, Vinod Rathod, Swarna Lata, Shweta Shetty, Jaspinder Narula and Alka Yagnik.

Bichhoo was an action movie directed by the famous action director Guddu Dhanoa who had proved that producing action movies is his specialty. He had earlier produced several action movies like Elaan, Gundaraaj, Ziddi, Aflatoon and Salaakhein and this was his just another venture. The movie revolves mostly around Jeeva ( Bobby Deol ) who is a professional killer and who can kill anyone anytime with no fear and no emotions. He is not a psycho killing anyone and the reason for this disliking of him towards humans lies in his past.

Jeeva was a normal guy, once, and belonged to a happy family. The incident when a criminal killed his mother and sisters and didn’t even spare his love gave birth to a professional killer in him. On being a top killer, it doesn’t take long to take revenge from his enemies but the ghost of the past was still haunting him. He was full of bitterness till one day he meets Kiran ( Rani Mukherjee ). Even her life was troubled by her father who worked for the drug lord Devraj ( Ashish Vidhyarthi ).
