Bombay 405 Miles was a comedy thriller released on May 2, 1980. The movie was directed as well as produced by Brij. The main roles in the movie were played by Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman and Amjad Khan while the presence of Deven Verma, Helen, Pran, Birbal, Bhagwan and Iftekhar supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Kalyanji Veerji and Anandji while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor, Mohammed Rafi, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar and Hemlata.

Bombay 405 Miles was a comic movie that revolved mostly around two men Kishan ( Shatrughan Sinha ) and Kanhaiya ( Vinod Khanna ) who are two convicts. They were ordered by the court to stay away from the Delhi border for some years thus they decided to hide in a goods train and travel to Mumbai. The twist in the story comes when they were travelling on the train and they come across an elderly male with a child named Munni. They helped him and the child.

In his last breath, the elderly person asks them to take care of his child as the matter involves millions of Rupees. The moment they hear the amount of money involved, they decides to take the child along to find her relative. But they were unable to find anyone so they decide to advertise in a newspaper. There was only one person who answered the advertisement, he was Veer Singh ( Amjad Khan ). So they demand huge money from him in return of the child.
