Dhoom 2 was an action-thriller movie that was released on November 24, 2006 under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie had been directed by Sanjay Gadhavi and produced by Aditya Chopra. Actors in the lead roles of the film were Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Uday Chopra while the roles of Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen were also significant. The music of the film had been directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the songs were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Sukhbir, K K, Suzanne D’Mello, Alisha Chinoy and Vishal Dadlani.

The movie Dhoom 2 is a sequel to the hit movie Dhoom and is also titled as D:2. Dhoom 2 is full of double action and adventures and features three new actors Hrithik, Aishwarya and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. Jai Dixit ( Abhishek Bachchan ) is a sharp and a true cop with great skills required to catch the thieves and eradicate the crime. This time ACP Jai is on a mission to catch the master thief. Sunehri ( Aishwarya Rai ) doesn’t  misses many opportunities coming her way. though she lives in small areas of Mumbai but dreams big. Aryan ( Hrithik Roshan ) is the master thief and works alone as he doesn’t trusts anyone.

Ali ( Uday Chopra ) is now a cop and works along Jai. He loves bike riding as much as he loves the girls. Ali and Jai are two sides of a coin as Jai is more intelligent and serious cop whereas Ali is a fun loving care free guy. Aryan aka Mr. A is an internationally renowned thief and the case to catch him is given to Jai who is helped by ACP Shonali Bose ( Bipasha Basu ), Jai’s college mate. She is also the sharp shooter of the police force. Aryan comes across another smart thief Sunehri who offers him the partnership. Aryan after thinking a lot agrees.
