Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara was a comedy movie released on December 16, 2004 under the banner of MVS Productions. The movie was directed by Onkar Nath Mishra and produced by M.C. Pandey. The important roles were played by actors Vikas Kalantri, Aslam Khan, Rajpal Yadav and Divya Palat while the supporting roles were played by Aman Sondhi and Mallika Kapur. The music of the film was directed by Nikhil and Vinay while the songs were sung by Shriram Ayyar, Priya Bhattacharya, Shaswati, Shreya Ghosal and Udit Narayan.

The movie was a debut film of producer M.C. Pandey trying his luck in Bollywood. Pandey wanted to make the film with not so famous stars as he wanted to experiment with them. According to the director turned writer Onkarnath Mishra, he had a good time working with the stars and the producer Pandey. The movie revolves around three playful guys Sanjay ( Aslam Khan ), who is a businessman, Vinod ( Aman Sondhi ), a cricketer by profession and Deepak ( Vikaas Kalantri ), who is an aspiring singer.

There is also an underworld don Tundabhai ( Rajpal Yadav ) who plays a naughty and a spoilsport person. The guys are in love with three girls Neela ( Mallika Kapur ), Shree ( Jonita Doda ) and Sherry ( Divya Palat ). Whille Neela is mad about cricket, Shree loves to sing and Sherry wanted to marry a rich businessman. The twist in the story comes when Sherry falls in love with Deepak mistaking him to be a businessman, Neela started loving Sanjay thinking he is a cricketer and Shree falls for Vinod mistaking him to be a singer. Tundabhai also loved the three girls and wanted to impress them.
