Dulhe Raja was an action comedy movie released on July 10, 1998. The movie was directed and produced by Harmesh Malhotra. The important roles in the movie were played by Govinda, Johny Lever, Raveena Tandon and Kader Khan while the roles of Prem Chopra and Mohnish Behl were also important. The music of the film was directed by Anand Chitragupt and Milind Chitragupt while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Jaspinder Narula, Ram Shankar, Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal and Vinod Rathod.

Dulhe Raja was a comedy movie featuring the famous comedy actor Govinda in the lead roles. It was Govinda’s not so famous movie after the flop show of Banarasi Babu, Aunty No. 1 and Achanak. Raveena was so-so in the movie and the movie was directed by Harmesh Malhotra whose last hit movie was Nagina. The movie was about a millionaire Mr. Singaria ( Kadar Khan ) who wanted to buy a new hotel. But the twist in the story was that there is a Dhaba near his hotel that was run by Raja ( Govinda ).

While all the customers slept at the hotel, they always eat at Raja’s Dhaba. This thing troubled Singaria very much and wanted to remove the Dhaba from there. Well this is not the first time anyone has tried that thing as the previous owners of the hotel tried to remove the Dhaba but were unsuccessful in doing so. Bankhey ( Johny Lever ) was the hotel manager and provided the hilarious effects to the film. Singaria has a spoilt daughter Kiran ( Raveena Tandon ) who slowly falls in love with Raja.
