Bollywood action thriller, Dushman Duniya Ka, directed by Mehmood and written by Aziz Quaisi was released on September 20, 1996. The movie starred Jeetendra and Laila in lead roles while Ashok Kumar, Farida Jalal, Anjaan Mumtaz, Abhishek Sharma, Raza Murad, Johnny Lever, Liliput and Jankidas also played significant chbaracters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director Anu malik while the songs were rendered by Asha bhonsle. Very few knows that Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan also played short appearances in the film.

The movie starts with a guy named Mahesh ( Jeetendra ), who has no idea about his parents and consider himself an orphan. He meets with a beautiful girl named Reshma ( Sumalatha ) and instantly falls in love with her. Soon they both get married to each other. Mahesh and Reshma starts living a happy life and soon Reshma gives birth to a child and names him Lucky ( Manzoor Ali ). Years later, Lucky is a grown up guy now and is in love with a girl named Lata ( Laila ). He introduces Lata to his parents who gives their nod for their marraige.

But Mahesh get shocked to reveal that Lucky is a drug addict. He confronts Lucky for this, who promise him that he will never take drug again in his life. One day, while returing to his home, Mahesh sees lucky in the group of some young guys, who are there to get their dose of drug. He immediately calls the police. Police arrests all the people presents there including Lucky but the drug peddler manage to escape from there. Lucky is thrown out of the house by Mahesh and Reshma.
