The action comedy movie Ek Aur Ek Gyarah was released on March 28, 2003 under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. The movie was directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ashok Ghai. The main roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Govinda and Amrita Arora while the roles of Nandini Singh and Gulshan Grover were also important. Music of the film was directed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy while the songs were sung by Sneha Pant, Babul Supriyo, Soumya Raoh, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam.

Ek Aur Ek Gyarah was a comic movie with good dose of thrill at regular intervals that revolves mostly around two small but intelligent conmen Tara ( Sanjay Dutt ) and Sitara ( Govinda ). They don’t have any plans of the future and take it as it come. They also like playing pranks over others. In order to esape from a police chase they once shoot the biggest criminal of the nation Cobra ( Ashish Vidhyarthi ), unknowingly. While Tara and Sitara managed to fool the cops but Cobra gets arrested.

When Tara and Sitara came to know about the incident they decided that once they cross the border and reach Nepal, they would lead a comfortable life. Cobra’s brother Panther ( Gulshan Grover ) was arrested by RamSingh ( Jackie Shroff ) and possess the code of the Nation Destroying gun. Tara and Sitara also felt that only Ram Singh is the person who can get them out of the nation easily. They narrate a sad story to his family and got in his house. They soon fell in love with Ram Singh’s daughter ( Amrita Arora ) and her friend( Nandini Singh ).
