Ek Number Ka Chor was a social movie released in the year of 1990. The movie was directed as well as produced by Tajdar Amrohi. The important characters in the film were played by Mazhar Khan, Aatish Devgan, Sneh Lata and Harish Patel while the role of Reeta Bhaduri was also important. The music of the film was directed by Maqsood Iqbal and the songs were sung by Yunus, Raza, Alka Yagnik, Maya Govind, Nida Fazli and Tajdar Amrohi.

The movie Ek Number Ka Chor was a social film along with being an action flick. The title of the movie can easily tell us the genre of the movie. The movie didn’t do well when it was released but its release was surely noticed. The movie was directed by actor turned director Tajdar Amrohi who has acted in the Dharmendra and hema Malini starrer hit film Razia Sultan earlier in 1983. Razia Sultan was also directed by his brother Kamal Amrohi.

The lead roles in the movie were played by Aatish Devgan, brother of action hero Ajay Devgan and the female lead was played by Sneh Lata. The music of the film was given by Maqsood Iqbal who had given music for many movies earlier. The songs were mostly sung by Yunus, Raza and Alka Yagnik. The roles of Mazhar Khan, Aatish Devgan and Sneh Lata were satisfactory but the characters they played were upto the mark.
