Garv - Pride & Honour was an action movie released on July 9, 2004 under the banner of Cinevistaas. The movie was directed by Puneet Issar and produced by Sunil Mehta and Prem Kishen. The important roles were played by Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Akanksha Malhotra while the roles of Amrish Puri and Farida Jalal were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Zubin, Shabbir Ahmed, Sunidhi Chauhan and Vinod Rathod.

The movie Garv - Pride & Honour is directed by Puneet Issar which is also his first film as the director. Puneet Issar can be remembered as the personality who played the character of Duryodhan in B.R.Chopra’s famous series of epic Mahabharat. The movie is also the third film of the real brothers Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan after their Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Hello Brother. The girl in the song “Marhaba Marhaba” is Reshma Bombaywala who came on screen first time with Shehri Babu remix video.

The movie Garv explores the life and duty of the officers in the Mumbai Police Force. The Special Task Force team in the movie constitutes of Samar Singh ( Amrish Puri ), Arjun Ranawat ( Salman Khan ) and Hyder Ali ( Arbaaz Khan ). Arjun and Hyder take the responsibility on their shoulders to fight the increasing crime and corruption in the city and that too under the guidance of Samar Singh. Meanwhile his family including his mother ( Farida Jalal ) and sister (Akanksha ) was targeted by his enemies. Now it was not only the city for Arjun but also his family.
