The romantic movie Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya was released on February 15, 2002 under the banner of Shree Krishna International. The movie was directed by Dharmesh Darshan and produced by Suneel Darshan. The key roles in the movie were played by Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor and Kader Khan while the supporting roles were played by Himani Shivpuri and Shakti Kapoor. Music of the film was directed by Nadeem-Shravan while the songs were sung by Alka Yagnik, Sarika Kapoor, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.

Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya was directed by the famous director Dharmesh Darshan who has earlier produced the movie like Mela, Raja Hindustani and Dhadkan. Going by the same trend of producing love stories like Dhadkan, the director produced this movie which is a love triangle. Dharmesh agrees that though the movies are based on similar genre but the stories of them are quite different. The specialty about this movie is the chemistry between the characters.

The story of the movie revolves around three characters Pooja Kashyap ( Karisma Kapoor ), Shiv Kapoor ( Abhishek Bachchan ) and Raj Malhotra ( Akshay Kumar ). Though Pooja is beautiful and intelligent but is ready to give up her career for the sake of true love. Shiv is a cool and ambitious guy who takes the life as it comes. Raj is a complete man having all that he needed from money, fame to pride. But the only thing he missed was love but was confident to get it one day. The twist in the story comes when all three characters meet each other.
