Bollywood romantic drama, Hawas, directed by Saawan Kumar and written by Bimal Dutta was released in the year 1975. The movie starred Anil Dhawan and Neetu Singh in lead roles while Rekha, Vinod Mehra, Pradeep Kumar, Bindu, Vidya Sinha, Pinchoo Kapoor and Mehmood also played important roles in the film. The evergreen melodious music of the movie was directed by the music director Usha Khanna while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Criminal don, Natwarlal ( Pinchoo Kapoor ) ask his good looking employee, Anil Kumar ( Anil Dhawan ) to find employement with a wealthy businessman, Shailendra Singh ( Pradeep Kumar ). He wants Anil to seduce Shailendra’s only daughter, Neetu Singh ( Neetu Singh ). Anil manage to get a job in Shailendra Singh’s firm. Soon he becomes the favourite of Shailendra. He tries to establish friendly relationship with Neetu but everytime interrupted by his mother, Kamini ( Bindu ).

Anil later revelas that Kamini is actually the second wife of Shailendra Singh. He also learn that Kamini also has the same intentions like him. He tries to become friendly with kamini but she straightaway refuses. Now Anil has left with no other than to seduce Neetu and make her fall in love with him. How will he do this in the presence of Kamini?
