The movie Hijack is under production and will be releasing on August 29, 2008 and will be bannered under Aleya Motion Magic and Eros Entertainment. The movie belongs to a genre of thriller and is directed by Kunal Shivdasani and produced by Dinesh Vijan along with Kunal. The actors in lead role are Shiney Ahuja, K K Raina and Esha Deol while Mona Ambegaonkar and Kaveri Jha have also played important roles in the film. The film guarantees a high quality action to the viewers.

As the name of the movie suggests, the movie involves some action involving the airplanes. Vikram Madan ( Shiney Ahuja ) is working as a ground maintenance officer at the Chandigarh Airport. He was so involved in his work and also due to the uneven working hours he was left with only one close friend Rajeev who was also working at the same airport as a chief security officer. The movie takes a turn when the flight in which Vikram’s daughter was going to Amritsar from Delhi was hijacked. The hijackers were amongst the travelers in the flight and took control of it in air.

The six terrorists demanded the release of their fellow terrorist Maqsood ( KK Raina ) who was imprisoned by the Indian Police. They even threatened to kill the passengers if the demands had not been met. The flight was forcefully landed at Chandigarh airport. The whole plan to hijack the plane for the release of Maqsood was made by Abdullah. Vikram was much worried about his daughter and wanted to save her at any cost. Vikram managed to get into the plane with the help of an air hostess Saira ( Esha Deol ). Vikram started killing the six terrorists one by one and in secret though some innocent passengers lost their lives. The movie successfully displays the fight of a father to save his daughter from the dangerous terrorists.
