Bollywood romantic movie, Ishk Par Zor Nahin, directed by Ramesh Saigal and written by S. P. Bakshi was released in the year 1970. The movie starred Dharmendra and Sadhana Shivdasani in lead roles while Biswajeet, Jagdish Raj, Nadira, Jagdeep, Leela Mishra, Helen, Abhi Bhattacharya and Kamini Kaushal also played significant characters in the film. The melodious evergreen music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Sachin Dev Burman while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Amar ( Biswajeet ), who belongs to a wealthy family and lives a rich lifestyle. Amar has a very close friend named Ram Kumar ( Dharmendra ). He introduces him to his father and ask him to provide employment to Ram. Amar then meets with a beautiful girl named Sushma Rai ( Sadhana Shivdasani ) and instantly falls in love with her. As Ram is a very good poet too, so he ask him to write a love letter and a poem for Sushma on behalf of him.

Sushma reads the letter and assumes that Ram has written the letter to her. She falls in love with Ram. She meets with him but soon they both falls in love with each other. Ram get shocked to learn that Sushma is the girl with whom his friend, Amar is in love. He then decides to keep distance from Sushma. However, Sushma is determined to get married with him.
