Judaai was a family drama released in the year of 1980. The movie was directed by Rama Rao Tatineni. The major roles in the movie were played by Ashok Kumar, Sachin, Rekha and Jeetendra while the roles of Arun Govil, A.K. Hangal, Asit Sen, Deven Verma Asha, Aruna Irani, Sachdev and Shoma Anand were equally important. The songs of the movie were sung by Mohammad Rafi.

Judaai was a family flick the story of which mostly revolved around a widower and former Judge named Umakant Verma ( Ashok Kumar ) who lived with his family consisting of his only son named Dr. Shashikant ( Jeetendra ). The house also had servants, led by Gauri ( Rekha ), the daughter of his childhood friend, Narayan Singh ( A.K. Hangal ). The thing was that Gauri was not a servant to them rather she was like their own daughter who had made herself important to their life.

The movie starts when Umakant was at his death bead and thus prepared a will for his property. In his will he wanted that Shashikant should marry Gauri. Soon Umakant passes away and his wish was fulfilled by both Shashikant and Gauri. Some months later Gauri gets pregnant and gives birth to a boy named Ravikant ( Sachin ) and was about to deliver her second baby some more months later. But before she could do that she finds that her husband Shashikant has been dating his old girlfriend Krishna ( Asha Sachdev ).
