Jwala was a romantic movie released on March 7, 1986. The movie was directed by Sudesh Issar and produced by Aratn Mohan. The main roles in the movie were played by Shatrughan Sinha, Suresh Oberoi, Anita Raaj and Puneet Issar while the presence of Madhavi, Goga Kapoor, Kamal Kapoor, Ram Mohan, Narendra Nath and Gita Siddharth supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Jagjit Singh.

Jwala was an action cum romantic film that was like all other romantic films produced at that time. The movie had nothing great to offer to the audience yet its release was noticed. The movie was directed by the actor turned director Sudesh Issar who has acted in movie Gumraah released in 1993 while the movies he directed were Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki and Bhai Ka Dushman Bhai. The movie was produced by Aratn Mohan for whom this movie was the debut film as a producer.

The male lead in the film was played by the famous actor Suresh Oberoi who has acted in many hit movies like Lawaaris, Coolie and Saat Saal Baad but made his debut with the movie Jeevan Mukut released in 1977. The female lead in the film was played by Anita Raaj who has acted in movies like Mehandi Rang Layegi released in 1982, Jeene Nahin Doonga released in 1984 and Jaan Ki Baazi released in 1985 while her first film was Prem Geet released in 1981.
