Kanoon Ki Awaaz was an action crime movie released in the year of 1989. The movie was directed by P Chandra and produced by R Kumar. The key roles in the movie were played by Shatrughan Sinha, Menaka, Jaya Prada and Aruna Irani while the presence of Shekhar Suman, Asrani, Prem Chopra, Bob Christo and Leena Das supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Jagjit Singh while the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Shobha Joshi, Jagjit Singh and Kumar Sanu.

Kanoon Ki Awaaz was an action cum crime movie that revolved around a gangster named Darshall Lall ( Prem Chopra ) who had many political connections with many famous people. This is the only reason why no police officer has ever attempted to arrest either him or any of his men. The twist in the story comes when a Public Prosecutor, Janki Rai’s ( Jaya Prada ) husband Raghunath Prasad Rai ( Shatrughan Sinha ) who is an auto rickshaw driver witnesses a murder of Ram Mohan Tripathi ( Raja Babu ) killed by Lall’s son, Surendra Pal.

On Raghunath’s evidence, Lall’s son was arrested and was brought up before the court. Lall tried to bribe the judge Janki but of no use. As a result Surendra was convicted and was sentenced to death. Lall decides to take revenge of his son’s death from Raghunath and soon finds that Raghunath could be bought up with money and inducts him in a life of crime. The new lifestyle and money plagues Raghunath’s mind and he started drinking alcohol and also started coming late.
