Kismat Konnection, under the banner of Tips Music Films, is going to release on July 18, 2008. The movie directed by Aziz Mirza comes under Genre of Romance. The lead roles are played by Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Juhi Chawla, Om Puri, Vishal Malhotra. The Music is directed by Pritam Chakraborty. The singers responsible for the beautiful songs are Neeraj Shridhar, Alka Yagnik, Shaan, Hard Kaur, Akruti Kakkar, Mohit Chouhan, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Adeel, Atif Aslam.

The movie is about a brilliant student Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapur) who is graduating from an architectural college. Raj is not only extra ordinary in academics but also in sports and dramatics. He always kept thinking why is it that the boy with so much talent and the Best student of the year award has still not been able to prove his talent. He believes that there must be some negative luck “Kismat” of him that is making all the important opportunities go by. He kept wondering why his alarm never bells, the shower always stops in the midst of things, the car never starts.

Hasina Bano Jaan (Juhi Chawla), the forecaster, tells Raj to find his lucky charm and never let go off it that would change his luck and will turn things in favor of him. Raj kept wondering what this charm could be. Suddenly to his surprise, Raj impresses the top builder Sanjeev Gill (Om Puri) and got a big project. On the other hand, Priya (Vidya Balan) is a simple girl with her own morals who is willing to make the world a better place to live and she is ready to fight and give her everything for this. Raj manages to convince Priya that he can save the Destrtuction of her favorite Community Center and also reveals the reality of her fiancé (Amit Verma).
