The romantic movie Koi Aap Sa was released on October 14, 2005 under the banner of Balaji Telefilms Ltd. The movie was directed by Partho Mitra and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The major roles in the film were played by Aftab Shivdasani, Dipannita Sharma, Natassha and Himanshu Mallik while the supporting roles were played by Gautam Kapoor and Ali Asgar. The music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Shaan, Alka Yagnik and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie Koi Aap Sa was one of the movies who don’t come to the expectations associated to it. The movie starts well but the story makes the audience go bored. The movie is special to the director Partho Mitra who is debuting with the film. The story of the movie is about the three close friends Rohan ( Aftab Shivdasani ), Simran ( Natassha ) and Priti ( Dipannita Sharma ). The group study in the same college and is fun loving that don’t mind making up just like they don’t mind fighting. Rohan is good at football but same can’t be said about his dancing, on the other side Simran is an outgoing personality.

Rohan believes that Simran is his lucky charm and that is why he always seeks her advice. Rohan falls in love with a girl Priti ( Dipannita Sharma ) from the neighbouring Arts college but can’t get enough courage to tell her about it. Simran helps him with this thing too and Priti also starts loving him. Priti feels that Simran is very much involved in his life and should keep some distance with him. Simran also gets engaged to Vicky ( Himanshu Malik ) who returns to US for some work. Meanwhile his close friend Ranjeet ( Gautam Kapoor ) leaves Simran speechless.
