Kishore Kumar and Sadhana Shivdasani starrer romantic comedy, Man Mauji, was released in the year 1962. The movie was directed by R. Krishnan and written by Madhusudhan Rao. The other starcast of the film includes Durga Khote, baby Farida, Sunder, Leela Chitnis, devika, Anwar Hussain, Kumari Naaz, Bharati Roy, Sulochana Chatterjee, Achala sachdev and Pran in important roles. The melodious evergreen music of the movie was composed by none other than the legendary music director Madan Mohan while the songs were crooned by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Raja ( Kishore Kumar ), whoi is fond of lying and playing pranks with everyone. Raja is arrested by police in the charge of stealing medication. Raja’s mother passes away after his arrest and his younger sister is abducted by someone. Years later, Raja is now a grown up guy. He learns about Rani’s location and enters in her life. he pretends to be a wealthy guy in front of her. But soon Rani reveals that Raja is lying to her and the wealth has been acquired by him by robbing another guy.

Raja is then once again arrested by police. Rani then decides to work in Dr. Mohan’s home. Rani get shcoked when she reveals that Raja jas also got a job as a chauffeur with the same family. Raja is once again accused of stealing a wrist watch but this time he refuse to accept his guilt. However, he is thrown out of the house for the offence.
