Mehboob Mere Mehboob was a romantic movie released in the year of 1992. The movie was directed by Paramjeet Juneja and produced by Gurdeep Singh. The actors in the lead roles were Joy Mukherjee, Mohnish Behl, Pratibha Sinha and Gulshan Grover while the roles of Alok Nath and Biswajeet were also significant. The music of the film was directed by Ram Lakshman and Dilip Tahil while the songs were sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Suresh Wadkar, Lata Mangeshkar and Aziz Nazan.

The story of the movie is about two regions Jungela and Takt Hazar which are against each other for more than centuries now. The movie is about Ranjha ( Joy Mukherjee ) from Takt Hazar who lives with his several brothers and their wives. He fell in love with a beautiful girl named Heer Choudhry ( Pratibha Sinha ) from Jungela.

The problem to their love story was produced by Ranjha’s brothers who didn’t approve of their relationships while Heer’s parents were ready for their marriage. The day when Ranjha was supposed to get married and didn’t show up, Heer’s parents arranged her marriage with Saheda Khan ( Mohnish Bahl ), however she was not ready for the wedding. After the marriage, Ranjha returns and their love story blooms again, which was not liked by her husband Saheda who wanted her to follow Shariyat Law now and also kill Ranjha.
