The romantic movie Meri Padosan is currently under production and will be releasing on April 10, 2009 under the banner of Sagar Creations. The movie is being directed by Prakash Saini and produced by Ashok Bagla. The main roles in the movie are played by Sarvar Ahuja, Sanjay Mishra, Sadhika Randhawa and Khayali while the roles of Heena Tasleem and Ashok Bagla are also important. The music of the film is being directed by Ravi Meet and Manoj Negi.

The movie Meri Padosan tells the audience that one should do anything to achieve his/her dreams in life. The story of the movie revolves around a couple who come from a small town to achieve their dreams. The lead characters if the film are Viju ( Sanjay Mishra ) who is a clerk and Kavita ( Sadhika Randhawa ) who is a housewife. They were living happily with each other until one day when a struggling director Shyam Gopal Verma comes to stay with two friends Prem and Aslam.

While Prem is a media promoter, Aslam is working in a private bank. They were fighting over one or the other thing at night daily and this was giving problems to Viju and Kavita. Even sometimes Prem gets to see the romance of Viju and Kavita and this takes him into flash forward mode. Shyam finds a vacancy with the Live India channel for the post of a director. Live India channel was planning to make a movie on real life story and any body was allowed to submit their proposal. But his heart was broken when he comes to know that more than 500 applications have been accepted for that post.
