Oh Darling Yeh Hai India was a social movie released on August 11, 1995. The movie was directed and produced by Ketan Mehta. The lead roles in the movie were played by Shahrukh Khan, Deepa Sahi, Amrish Puri and Anupam Kher. The music of the film was given by Ranjit Barot while the lyrics were written by Ketan Mehta. The main singers were Alisha Chinoy, Sudesh Bhosle, Nusrat, Shankar Mahadevan and Shweta Shetty. Javed Jaffery too had a good role.

The story is about the antisocial elements harming the country for their own benefit. Here Shahrukh Khan plays the role of a lively and active person. Miss India ( Deepa Sahi ) signs up Khan to make her life more interesting and entertaining. Here the Don ( Amrish Puri ) wants to run the country in his own way.Thus he comes up with a plan to clone the President. Don’s son Prince ( Javed Jaffery ) fells for Miss India.

The Don executes his plan and replaces the President with the clone. Don with the help of the cloned President initiates riots in the country. Prince shields Miss. India from the riots. He captures Khan and imprisons him where Khan meets the real President. Now they both escape from the prison to reveal the real truth. Thus the story as usual ends with the victory of good over evil. Anupam Kher gave a splendid performance in the movie.
