Bollywood movie, Phir Milenge, directed by Revathi was released on August 27, 2004. Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan did the lead roles in the film. The music of the film was given by the famous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The movie was distributed under tha banner of Sahara One Pictures. The movie is about an AIDS victim and is supposed to be inspired by ‘Philadelphia’. The movie failed to do well at the box office but the performances of the actors were applauded.

The movie starts with Tamanna Sahni ( Shilpa Shetty ), who is a hard-working and dedicated staff member of a advertising agency. She has contributed a lot in the success of the agency. Everything is going well till she meets her college boyfriend Rohit Manchanda ( Salman Khan ) in a college reunion. They come close and evenually develops phyiscal relationship with each other. After those intimate moments Rohit leaves her. Tamanna also settles back to her office work.

One day, Tamanna’s sister, Tanya ( Kamalinee Mukherjee ), meets with an accident. Tamanna decides to give her own blood to save her sister’s life. But she get shocked when, Dr. Raisingh ( Revathi ), informs her that she has been tested positive for HIV. She tries to contact Rohit but failed to do so. She also loses her job when her boss in the agency comes to know about her HIV thing. Due to this unfair dissmissal, she files a case against the agency. Advocate Tarun Anand ( Abhishek Bachchan ) agrees to fight her case in the court.
